These books were ok with a mystery to solve in each book. While the stories were good I found that a few times I had to push myself to finish. They did not have enough hero action for me. Of course this is just my opinion others may be totally satisfied with the action.
My rating is because the books while different overlapped with a separate crime thru all three novels. There was a little too much detail in the sex scenes for me, but I just fast read them and got back to the main action
This author knows how to keep the reader interested.
I definitely loved the first book. Katie won my heart from the get go. Then the book kept getting worse and worse with the cussing. I finally just had to stop reading. I was really let down. I would have expected these books to be listed in the erotica section and was not ready for that must junk. I'm glad I got them for free. sorry I won't be buying the others. Each to their own.
So this is the first time I've read this author and it took me a couple of chapters to get into the first story. But after that I was hooked and had to remind myself to sleep. The characters and storylines moved fast and kept you in engaged and wanting more. Can't wait to read the rest of the stories.
This 1-3 series was okay I guess. Didn’t love it. Didn’t hate it. Probably won’t read any more from this series. I could see what the author was trying to achieve, but not exactly reach, with each story. That being said, they’re not horrible. Although, while reading “Justice Healed” I started to believe I was in the middle of one of those drinking games where every time Madison said “I’m a doctor,” everybody downed a shot (I dare say I probably would have enjoyed the book more that way). She has to be one the most annoying characters I’ve read in a while.
Regardless, this is not a bad book, but it’s not a good book.
Don't waste you time unless you like raunchy sex with lots of "male domination", Bondage and Discipline.
The author has a great story line, well written and with good character development. But then ruins the whole thing because she couldn't write a love scene if her life depended on it. Lots of sex in these 3 novels, but ZERO love in the bedroom. The sex is described in the most vulgar terms possible and all the so called Heroes get off on spanking a woman until her bum is beet red and dare to call it love.
Disgusting!
This was a very good box set. Each one come with its very own sexy Cowboy and each heroine is different in personality so you don't feel you are reading the same book with different names. Each book picks up a part of an on going storyline as well as they have their own storyline too.
The love scenes are "hot" but do not overwhelm the book.
The suspense in each book keeps you glued to the pages and there is enough tense moments to bring you to the edge of you seat.
My only complaint would be I was hoping for Reed and Griffins story. 😢
